Uzbekistan Launches First Direct Air Connection with Sri Lanka

Centrum Air launched the first direct air service between Tashkent and Mattala in Sri Lanka, with the inaugural flight arriving on 28 October carrying 160 passengers. The route is scheduled to operate twice weekly until the end of March 2027, strengthening travel connectivity and tourism links between the two countries.
