Uzbekistan’s US$12 Billion Partnership Package Highlights Technology and Investment Opportunities

The business programme held in Samarkand on 19 October announced 54 agreements and prospective initiatives worth approximately US$12 billion, spanning digital technology, critical minerals, finance, healthcare, energy and industrial modernisation. The government also highlighted a “plug-and-play” approach intended to help investors access prepared projects, connected infrastructure and relevant documentation; no separate startup-funding pool or venture-capital allocation was specified. Startups, founders and accelerators can explore opportunities in technology partnerships, investor readiness and business development. HPC can support feasibility analysis, business intelligence and scalable digital infrastructure; the US$12 billion is the overall announced package, not a dedicated startup fund.
