VEON Agrees to Acquire Uzbekistan’s Perfectum for US$207 Million

On 19 October, VEON announced an agreement to acquire 100% of Rubicon Wireless, which operates under the Perfectum brand in Uzbekistan. The transaction consideration is approximately US$207 million, including around US$93 million in outstanding financial debt; regulatory approvals were reported as obtained, and completion was expected by the end of October 2026.
